There are also speedboat itineraries that connect the port of Rafina and Agios Konstantinos with several towns of the island of Evia all through the year. Evia is also connected with Sporades, Cyclades , Sterea, Thessalia and Magnesia.
The fastest route coming from Athens is through the anchorage of Agia Marina with the ferry crossing the channel to Nea Styra in approximately 45 minutes. The Port of Agia Marina is 1 hour away from Athens International Airport by road and there are also daily buses from Athens to the anchorage of Agia Marina (See below for more details).

From Piraeus – Athens to the town of Halkida in the island of Evia there are trains all through the year. Halkida is also connected with Viotia and Attica.

BY BUS:
From Athens to the island of Evia there are daily buses that reach the major towns all through the year. There are daily buses from Athens to Agia Marina and journey time is approximately one hour and a half. Also from Thessalonica there are bus itineraries to the town of Halkida and Aedipsos.
