Radovish is placed in the southeastern part of the Republic of Macedonia. The Municipality of Radovish is spread on the bottom of mountain Plachkovica and the northern part of Strumica valley. The main road Stip - Strumica is tangentially placed on the township of Radovish. This road is a main communication route with other parts of the state.

With new territorial division of the Republic of Macedonia, the territory of the Municipality of Radovish is significally reduced. Three new counties are established from the former Municipality of Radovish: Konce, Podares and Radovish. Administrations of the newly established counties Konce and Podares need to be funded and organized. Their economy, communications, telecommunications, education, healthcare and other activities necessary for normal functioning of one municipality are generally very dependent from the municipality and township of Radovish.

Local authority consists of directly elected Mayor and Council of Municipality of Radovish. One of the most important tasks of the local authority is to establish and maintain environmental and communal order. To achieve this goal, the mayor Kirco Susinov, his team and Council members undertook unseen activities such as:

• Reconstruction of town center and main street
• Southwestern hill has being transformed into beautiful park with paved paths, gazeboes and candelabras.
• Creek banks are being repaired and new candelabras are being fitted.
• New swimming pool, tennis and handball terrenes
• Local monthly periodical "Radovish Denes" (Radovis Today) and
• Many new activities that are contributing for better living conditions and making life in township more interesting.

Radovish is populated manly with Macedonians and partly with Turkish minority. In Municipality of Radovish ethnic conflicts and intolerance are unknown. The population is partly employed in agriculture; others are employed in the manufacturing industries and services. Self-employment is growing for now; mainly in the small groceries, shops and craft services. Agriculture is supplementary activity for most of the population. Formal and informal unemployment rates, like in other parts of the state, are very high.

As a populated place Radovish exist from the middle age. Place with same name is mentioned in Gramota of Byzantine Emperor Basileus II from 1019. North from today's Radovish, on the locality Isar there are remains from the middle age buildings. Unfortunately, no significant archeological activities are undertaken in this locality.
