This is a historical map, which offers a new presentation of the mountains and rivers. It is not very clear which mountain is which, but the rivers are entered in a much more accurate way than in Cantelli's and Sanson's maps. De L'Isle, however, leaves out Lake Prespa, and marks a chain of 7 lakes on the River Struma. The towns presented are only the ancient ones. The map also shows the Roman roads. This map was re-printed in 1730 and 1775, by Konrad Lotter.
