MACEDONIAN MUSIC  [ MACEDONIA ]

This performance is a result of the collaboration between two authors aiming at a more complex artistic expression by merging their creative capabilities. The use of the two media: music and dance during the creative process, means flexibility in accomplishing the unique compact whole.

Loneliness, isolation are the two main starting points in the cretion of the work, conditions which are deeply personal but at the same time they embrace the tendencies of the contemporary social life. Ouch-Couch is an intimate dialogue within a form of a monologue, as a consequence of the inability to accomplish deep closeness in a superficial “instant” world. The couch on which the two characters meet is a plastic, airy object which is an associated with instability.

The relationship between the two characters who are using it as a meeting point is the same; manipulative, intimate, at moments maybe absurd because of its artificiality.
