This time, the Forum for New Dance offers two performances in the same evening - Fragments by Olivera Kovacevic Crnjanski and Sasha Asentic, and Outer and Inner Circles by Jens van Daele.

Two utterly different ways of thinking, originating from different traditions, different understanding of scenic movements and, most importantly – for utterly different reasons.

In the first performance the authors examine the encounter of different forms of scenic movements – specific, stylized movement on one side, and finely polished ballet dance on the other, with the purpose of dancing up a story of the fundamental impossibility of communication between people...

In the other performance, the authors analyze the sense and reason of aggressiveness that, sometimes against our will, changes its primal form and melts into a gentle hug; as if all the anger of the oppressor gets feeble and turns into gentleness, for which we do not really know if it is an expression of coming to terms with one’s weakness, or it is a movement of a tired individual who can not find the strength to strike, so his punch turns into caress.,,,

Both of the performances, however, are put into the same context, not only by the fact that they are the projects of the Forum for New Dance, but above all, by the artistry, drive and energy of their participants, as well as by their enormous need to go further, to explore, to inquire...

That is what makes them the trademark of the Serbian National Theatre.
