This is a summary of the video’s theme, which was
presented at the Goethe Institute in Athens in February, during the anniversary
of the 100 years Bertold Brecht. My work’s theme is on “The Mothers” with
e reference in the following plays: “Carrar’s rifles”, “Mother”, “Mother
Courage and her children”, “The Caucasian circle”, “The good man of Sezuan”.
The Video is a free optical comment on B.B’s plays, with photos of Greek
and foreign actors in the leading roles. It’s duration is 18 minutes and
it is presented on a TV set surrounded by photos, old radios, films etc.,
or on a double screen. The concept and curation at the Goethe Institute
was by the critic Eleni Varopolou.
