| The wide and open space is almost completely
covered in papers; there is, like a green oasis in a vast desert, a grassy
carpet with flowers and apples. The first space, which reminds us of the
manipulations and the terror of the big, global and alienated social mechanisms,
belongs to the formless mass of magisterial clerks. They are born there
like insects from their larvae (first they all lie covered in newspapers,
so that they are totally adapted to the space), there they make their first
automatic and restrained moves, there their lamps, which they have instead
of hearts, begin to shimmer for the first time.
As we can see from this analysis, the performance communicates with the audience very well on an intellectual level. Besides being able to interpret the carefully and cleverly composed levels of meaning, the viewer could also enjoy the purely aesthetic experience and the formal components of the show: the stylised gestures based on the principle of repetitiveness, the symbolical use of lights (author Aleksandar Jocic), the excellent music (author Zoran Eric)… Ivan Medinica
