Tomaz Strucl interweaves in his performances iconographies of contemporary world and society. In his works we can recognize the principles of modern media, advertisements, rock concerts, soap operas…Strucl’s theatrical poetics is in fact like an earthquake detector, recording and depicting life of the young generation.

The play Jesus F. does not criticise the drug abuse. Nor is it a documentary on drug addiction. It is a work which employs distinctly theatrical (that is enacting rather than textual) instruments to present the road to destruction paved with the cruel facts of drug abuse in a non-moralising light. And it is staged with a highly original enactment of the road to nowhere and a true (veristic and stylised symbolic) presentation of the problem.
