Lozovo Municipality is situated in the central part of the Republic of Macedonia, covering a part of the Ovce Pole region with 11 settlements and 178 square kilometers of area. Sixty percent of the area are arable lands, and 35 percent are pastures. The geographic position of the municipality enables an exceptional communication with two main regional centres - the cities of Veles and Stip by the Veles - Stip motorway and the Veles - Kocani railway line. Lozovo is a modern urban settlement with developed infratructure. Various facilities are projected in the latest general constructing plan, addopted in 1999. Agriculture and animal husbandry is the locals' present day and probably future. Most of the population is occupied with agriculture with grains, grapes and tobbacco being the main crops. The irrirgation system in the municipality that covers a significant part of the agricultural land greatly contributes to rich and plentiful produce. Mr. Blazo Iliev, the Mayor of Lozovo Municipality sees its future in further development and streamlining the agriculture and husbandry as well as construction of food processing facilities. This offers great opportunities for investments for which the municipality gives special benefits.

Mestopolo`bata na op{tinata ovozmo`uva izvonredna soobra}ajna povrzanost so dvata golemi regionalni centri-gradovite Veles i [tip, preku magistralniot pat Veles - [tip i `elezni~kata linija Veles - Ko~ani. Lozovo pretstavuva moderna urbanizirana naselba so razviena infrastruktura. Noviot generalen urbanisti~ki plan usvoen vo 1999 godina predviduva izgradba na objekti od razli~en vid. Vo soglasnost so prirodnite uslovi, zemjodelieto i sto~arstvoto se sega{nost i nesomneno idninata na ovaa op{tina.
