Hotel DRIM		Hotel BEOGRAD
The Ineks Drim hotel complex has been operating for more than 22 years. It employs 140 people, and out of necessity hires seasonal workers, around hundred in a season. The complex consists of the hotels: Drim, Beograd and Eurotel, and a first class auto camp, AS. The basic activity of this company is providing hotel services and trade. The complex stretches along the Ohrid coast to the East of the Drim River in Struga. The Drim is an A-grade hotel with 420 beds and 600 auxiliary beds. There are also three restaurants, a night club, a casino, an automated bowling hall, a covered swimming pool, a conference hall for 250 people, a tennis court and a hotel's own beach. The hotel has been modernised by construction of an open swimming pool with the streamlining of the bowling hall to meet the European standards also being under way. A typical characteristic of this hotel is serving smorgasbord for breakfast and supper when an array of 20 salads alone is offered. The members of the staff are trained under the European norms of hotel management and knowledge of one or more foreign languages is obligatory on all. The Beograd is a B-grade hotel with a hundred-bed capacity. It has its own national restaurant, a beer tavern, a cafe and a mini-casino. The development of this hotel complex is directed towards modernising and reconstructing the facilities, the infrastructure and the rooms, as well as the apartments in AS. Ineks-Drim Hotels is a joint stock company in a phase of total privatisation by the employees. Mr. Goce Cakarevski, the General Manager, has been active in the hotel business for 25 years. Two years ago he assumed the post General Manager of Drim Hotels. A graduate economist with hotel business and tourism major, his vision of a future tourism is creation of a complementary branch to tourism meaning improvement of transport and post services, the infrastructure, the tourist promotion, and working on improvement of environmental awareness. Development of the countryside (village- and mountain-) tourism is of enormous importance for tourism as a whole.Cakarevski is of opinion that a lot more should be done in respect with faster and wider informing the world community on our national treasure. Attention should also be paid on professional training of tourist guides who should get perfect knowledge on the Republic of Macedonia and its cultural heritage and past. Cakarevski says that they exist for those guests who appreciate quality and good service. "We work round-the clock during the season with all our facilities being at guests' disposal." Kompleksot go so~inuvaat hotelite "Drim", "Beograd", "Eurohotel" i Avtokampot "AS" od prva kategorija. Osnovna dejnost na ovaa kompanija e vr{ewe ugostitelska dejnost i trgovija. Kompleksot e raspostranet dol` bregot na Ohridskoto ezero, na istekot na rekata Drim, vo gradot Struga. Hotelot "Drim" e od "A" kategorija i nudi kapacitet od 420 legla, so 600 pomo{ni i raspolaga so 3 restorani, no}en klub, kazino, avtomatska kuglana, zatvoren bazen, sala za sostanoci za 250 posetiteli, tenisko igrali{te i sopstvena pla`a. Napravena e modernizacija na hotelot so {to e izgraden leten bazen, a vo tek e i modernizacija na kuglanata, spored evropskite strandardi. Servirawe {vedska masa za doru~ek i ve~era e karakteristika za ovoj hotel. Se podgotvuvaat samo okolu 20 vidivi salati, a personalot e obu~en spored evropskite hotelierski normi na odnesuvawe i zadol`itelno zboruvaat eden ili pove}e stranski jazici. Hotelot "Beograd" e od "B" kategorija i negoviot kapacitet e 100 legla, raspolaga so sopstven nacionalen restoran, pivnica, kafule i mini kazino.
