            Bitolateks D.O.O. Trikotaza Bitola has existed since 1972, originally within the Bitolateks textile plant, one of the most renown companies in textile branch in former Yugoslavia. Today it is an independent company whose basic activity is production of men's, women's and children's ready-made knitwear, blankets, jambolijas (long-haired wool-made covers) and other kinds of cloth with annual output of 400,000 knitwear units and 450,000 square meters of cloth (blankets, jambolijas etc.). Bitolateks is open to cooperation with all business partners in the country and abroad. The cooperation is carried out on several levels from classical export of finalised products to finalisation of products and conclusion of contracts for joint investments in equipment, to joint performance on third markets. Owing to the continuing high quality production, Bitolateks has conquered foreign markets with a steadfast pace. At present, the overall production is export-oriented. The latest autumn-winter line of ready-made knitwear has been sold out on West European markets, precise in Switzerland, Germany, France with a tendency of conquering new markets. Blankets and jambolijas are sold in former Yugoslav republics and there are plans for expansion to Eastern European markets: Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland. Bitolateks D.O.O. Trikotaza is oriented to seeking new long-term cooperating partners in terms of joint investment in modern equipment for improving the existing mechanisation, and joint presentation on third markets. The Manager is Mr. Fidan Angelkovski who tends to emphasise the importance of marketing in the company's business performance. A businessman with hearing for customers' needs, he adjusts the production programmes in this way. For that end, the company keeps up with the world's fashion trends by taking part in fashion fairs, seminars, fashion shows. Numerous awards such as 1999 Skopje Fair's Golden Plaque for an "environmental friendly blanket" confirm the quality of the products. The blanket, produced of 100% natural material, has a very competitive price and has drawn the attention of foreign partners.

"Trikota`a" Bitola postoi od 1972 godina; vo po~etok kako sostaven del na tekstilniot kombinat "Bitolateks", (edna od najrenomiranite firmi vo svojata bran{a vo porane{na Jugoslavija), a denes e samostojna firma, ~ija osnovna dejnost e proizvodstvo na ma{ka, `enska i detska trikota`na konfekcija, }ebiwa, jambolii i dr. tkaenini, so godi{en kapacitet od 400.000 trikota`ni edinici i 450.000 m2 tkaenina (}ebiwa, jambolii i dr.) "Bitolateks" e otvoren za sorabotka so site delovni partneri od zemjata i stranstvo. Se raboti klasi~en izvoz na gotovi proizvodi, dorabotka na poluproizvodi, dogovori za zaedni~ki vlo`uvawa vo oprema, zaedni~ki nastap na treti pazari i sl. Poradi postojano visokiot kvalitet na svoite proizvodi "Bitolateks" gi osvoi pazarite i nadvor od zemjata. Vo momentov celokupnoto proizvodstvo e nameneto za izvoz. Trikota`nata konfekcija za sezonata esen-zima se plasira, vo celost, na zapadno-evropskiot pazar i toa vo [vajcarija, Germanija, Francija, so tendencija za osvojuvawe na novi pazari. ]ebiwata i jamboliite se plasiraat na pazarite na porane{nite Jugoslovenski republiki, a za ovie proizvodi postoi tendencija za ekspanzija kon isto~no-evropskite pazari: Ukraina, ^e{ka, Slova~ka, Polska i dr. Bitolateks D.O.O."Trikota`a" e orientirana kon pronao|awe delovni partneri za dolgotrajna sorabotka.
