" Up to now I was very lucky to work
with really great directors of photography. So, watching and admiring Iziyak and
Kieszlowsky' s films I was very excited and impressed that I would work with this director
of photography. Iziyak is very interesting, firstly as a person, and that could be simply
seen from his films. He is very accurate and quick while working, and which is most
interesting, he uses a lot of different filters in various colors, which an optition in
Poland makes specially for him. When I firstly saw and read the screenplay, I liked the
part, and I was more relaxed when hearing that "I want you" had a small team and
low budget and that the work would be done in very relaxed conditions. So, while the
delicate scenes were shot, they were closed, which offered relaxation and conditions for
creative freedom."
