About "NIGHT"

Esad Musliu, director- " The Night", in fact, is an Albanian-Macedonian coproduction, between "Alba film" and "Vardar film", which started in 1995, and is finished this year. The work was done in problematic conditions, especially in the post production, which lasted for three years. Preciesly, the film was finalized in Albania and we have only the copy which was presented at the Festival.

Pellumb Panariti, director of photography - The three quarters of the film were shoot at night. That is why the director Musliu and I thought to make a film which is not dull, having in mind our technical possibilities. So, a part of the night scenes were made during other parts of the day, in twilight. The film story happens during 24 hours. However, the most important thing was to make a film, which won't be under the standards, considering the bad working conditions.
