Windows 98,ME  
To establish a connection and data transfer between your computer and the Unet servers, it is necessary to configure the parameters of the TCP/IP protocol and the dial-up adapter.

The procedure is described in the following steps:

• Choose the desktop icon My Computer, then choose Dial-Up Networking, and Make New Connection. Enter the following parameters:
- Enter the name of the provider Unet
- Put 02 at the Area Code field
- Enter 3291177 at the Telephone Number field
- Choose F.Y.R.O.M. as the Country Code
- Press Next two times, and then Finish
• Choose My Computer, then Dial-up Networking and then right-click the Unet icon, and choose Properties and set the following parameters:

General
- Make sure that the field Use area code and Dialing Properties is unchecked (if you're dialing from outside of Skopje, then leave it checked)
- Check the field Connect using and make sure that you're using the modem that is installed in your computer

Server Type
- Select PPP, Internet, Windows NT Server, Windows 98 at the field Type of Dial-Up Server
- Make sure that Enable software compression is the only checked box at the Advanced Options group
- Make sure that TCP/IP is the only selected protocol at the Allowed network protocols

Windows XP
To make a connection and data transfer between your computer and the Unet servers, it is necessary to create and configure the dial-up connection.

The procedure is described in the following steps:

• Choose START, then Settings, and Network Connections
• Choose Create a new connection and click Next
• Select Connect to the Internet and then choose Next
• Select Setup my connection manually and then choose Next
• Select Connect using a Dial-up modem, Next
• Enter the name of the Internet provider Unet, Next
• Enter the phone number of the server, 3291177, Next
• Enter your user name and password, then click Next
• Select Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop, and click Finish

Configuring your e-mail client

Most e-mail clients today can be set up by setting the following two parameters:

• SMTP server: mail.unet.com.mk
• POP3 server: pop3.unet.com.mk

SETTING UP OUTLOOK EXPRESS

• Go to the Tools menu, choose Accounts, and then click Add, Mail
• Enter your full name and click Next
• Enter your e-mail address and click Next
• Enter the POP3 and SMTP server addresses given above, and click Next
• Enter your user name and password, and click Finish

SETTING UP NETSCAPE MAIL

• Go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences
• Then click Identity and enter your full name and e-mail address
• Click Mail server and in the window Mail server user name enter your user name, and in the fields below put the POP3 and SMTP servers given above
• Click OK

Congratulations! You have now successfully setup your e-mail client!
